LIRA Decade Concert

LIRA is a multi-platinum, award winning, South African singer/song writer.

We were commissioned by LIRA to conceptualise and execute her celebratory decade concert, to commemorate her 10 year journey within the South African music industry.

We drew inspiration from her iconic imagery used over past 10 years, and created a story line which illustrated her journey. Key elements for our stage design were to portray an elegant and intimate experience for her audience. By utilising the circular nature of Carnival City’s Big Top Arena (JHB, South Africa) we were able to encompass the audience by designing a wide yet personal space.

By working closely with the artist herself we were able to craft a journey for her audience, portraying all the important messages she brings across in her music and making sure she was able to connect with her audience in a way only LIRA can.

Using a combination of video and lighting content we were able to guide the audience through the musical journey which was the LIRA decade concert.
